My Favorite Songs for Prayer.
I often worship while I pray. There’s a deep soul connection that happens when glorifying God through music — especially when the lyrics echo a need, a longing, or a declaration of faith. In those moments, I’ll speak or sing the words aloud, inserting the name of the person or the situation I’m praying over. It’s as if my spirit draws even closer to God during this process. There are also times where I just put on song on repeat to allow the biblical promises permeate my being as I meditate on it. I’ll listen to them while I go on a prayer walk to specifically speak to the Lord about something. When someone I know needs a miracle, the first way I pray for them is through worship.
